My internet is in & out, so I'm trying to get a few pics up while I can... Lilya did SO well at our first visit back. She was so incredibly excited and thrilled to see us - we think she may have missed us!

I love this picture - Lilya looks so much like her new little sister, Ruby!
I've said all along that Lil looks like Ruby, with Karly's coloring. It's going to be hard to tell which of our children is adopted, if people don't know us .. although, the one who speaks Ukrainian might be an obvious first guess for a while ...
Lilya was fine with Brian from the start, he didn't have to work on getting her to warm up to him ... although he did have to share her with Mama quite a bit.
Content, hanging on Papa
And thanks to the presence & thoughtfulness of Charissa Urban, we have a picture of the 3 of us on adoption day, as well! (Thanks, Charissa!)

Officially a Zoromski!
Brian is on his way home to our motley crew back home, and I stayed behind a couple extra days to visit Lilya (and I'm so glad I did - I can't imagine leaving her right now, after the reception we got yesterday).
When I leave here on Sunday, I'll be heading back in a week (after the mandatory 10 day waiting period, in case anyone wanted to appeal the adoption) to finish her paperwork & get everything set to bring her home!
Home, home, home - doesn't that sound wonderful!?

What a lovely picture at the end. (Well, all of them, actually.)
ReplyDeleteThe family picture is beautiful - can't wait to see one with ALL of your kids!
